About the owner


Hey ya'll, I'm Heather, Owner and Lead Coordinator at Planner Makes Perfect Weddings & Events. I was born and raised right here in Tampa, FL. I have 25+ yrs experience in the corporate client services industry. I hold a bachelors degree in MRI & Healthcare Management. But an internship turned Lead Coordinator position with a former wedding & event planning company locally, helped me to realize that wedding and event planning was my true passion!


After working in the industry for 10+ years I decided to start my own company. It was important to me that I make it a mission to run a business that is inclusive and respectful to all clientele. I am very detail oriented and a bit of a perfectionist. When it comes to planning, crafting, organizing, etc... I like to handle things myself - just so I know that they are done right. With that in mind, when I created my company, I wanted my clients to get the sense that they can fully rely on us to plan their most important events to perfection.


 When I'm not planning unforgettable events for my clients, I spend my time traveling as often as I can, exploring new areas, hiking, kayaking, road-tripping, amateur photography, crafting & DIY'ing, honing my culinary skills and loving on my adorable little weiner dog, Slinky Bob.
